Today was a great day to help saves some lives.  Flint's Club 93.7's LV was on the scene at U of M-Flint's 'Bleed Blue, Give Blood' Drive put on by health care students.  If you never given blood, this would be a great opportunity to do so.

When I was walked in at noon, there was memorial moment of the lives of the 66 people who were killed last year in the City of Flint.  Instead of sweeping the numbers under the rug, the U of M-Flint students used it as motivation to inspire residents to give blood to save 66 lives moving forward.

After setting things up for the station, I signed up to give for the first time ever.  To be honest, I am NOT a fan of needles but it was for a great cause.  When it was my time to give, I became extremely brave and donated a pint of blood.  The staff from the Red Cross and U of M-Flint were very encouraging.

I hope you get a chance to head over to U of M-Flint to give some blood and save some lives.
