Genesee County 911 will be switching dispatch systems Friday, and they need residents to get signed up asap.

The old system that Gen County 911 used to use is called CodeRed. It will officially be shut down this Friday, and unfortunately user information will not automatically transfer to the new system.

That means that everyone needs to sign up for the new system so dispatch will have all of the necessary information. You can make your profile for free by clicking here. The site asks for basic personal and family information.

The information is then used in the event where you may call 911. Your family information then comes up for the operator to see, and make the response more efficient.
