Michigan's self made nerd was in Lansing Wednesday to roll out his new budget plan for Michigan, and Gov. Snyder focused on some major issues in our state.

The $52 Billion state budget includes some tax breaks, increases in education funding and much needed money to repair Michigans roads.

Public safety is also outlined as Snyder increased funding to the Michigan State Police. The state already has a surplus of $1 Billion, but many critics are saying that spending the money now would be a mistake.  ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

Snyder has been a fairly controversial figure in Michigan, but I think we can all agree that his Super Bowl commercial was . . . awkward.  You can read the entire 156 page budget here.
