Here’s How 11 Rappers Spent Memorial Day
Rappers across the country had a quite eventful Memorial Day. Although very few rappers spent time cooking on the grill (or at least many did not share it on social media), the holiday was a well spent seemingly drama-less occasion. Out of all the events taking place, Drake's pool party definitely seemed like the place to be above all.
The Toronto star threw a wet bash loaded with ladies and the rapper's LA Mansion was packed. Jaden Smith among others came through. The party even included an inflatable bounce house. However, the festivities ended in a brawl between two attendees. A fight broke out with two women and shortly after, the event wrapped up.
It's likely that Drizzy didn't take over the grill yesterday but rappers like Ludacris and Krayzie Bone did take some time to show off their cooking skills. Meek Mill was still in shock over Troy Ave's charges and took time to show support while others like Snoop Dogg and Prodigy were offended by the 'Roots' remake. 50 Cent hit the club in Vegas with a bunch of guests and Remy Ma celebrated a birthday. E-40, Mistah F.A.B., and Fabolous watched Game 7 of the Western Conference finals.
Check out how Snoop Dogg, Drake and nine other MCs spent Memorial Day in the list below.
Snoop Dogg was pissed at the 'Roots' remake.

The laws they made ain't designed to protect us! "They like get killed or get a 100 years" Don't let the press "gas" you to go against ya own people! Because if that was a cop Tryna protect his life the police force gone stand behind them 100% "Pic look crazy" #freetroy & never let these "bum ass nobody "sucka" crab in the barrel dudes pull you down! Most of the time it's all for attention.... that's all these bustas be wanting forreal!
Meek Mill showed Troy Ave some support.
Such a great series, wit great players, & greater moments & memories. I really believe this 3-1 comeback was another page in the story of history. I was highly entertained & believe both teams are still full of winners despite one has to lose. Salute OKC on a great season & low key the scariest match up for any team. Remember alot of ppl thought they wouldn't beat the Spurs, including myself or get the Warriors to within 1 game of elimination. But they outplayed our expectations. And Congrats to Golden State for winning & heading to the Finals for the 2nd year in a row. Of course they have a amazing player in Steph Curry but it's the Team effort that makes them such a UNIT. & they also outplayed the expectation bcuz most thought it was over when they got down 3-1, But they did it!! Ps. I know there will be a few ppl who will waste they time commenting about my line in the All The Way Up freestyle, but if u don't know my freestyles usually touch subjects & events of the moment. So the Warriors line was a current events metaphor playing off them being down & their name being the Warriors. Line was perfect the night I wrote & recorded. Maybe not so much now Either way hope y'all enjoyed the series like I did. - Sincerely Basketball Fan Fab
