Logic’s Divorce From Ex-Wife Jessica Andrea Is Official
According to an Sept. 17 report from TMZ, the YSIV rapper got a sign-off from a judge in the divorce case after he filed in April, citing "irreconcilable differences." The rapper and Andrea had been married since October 2015.
Following their split earlier this year, Logic and Andrea shared a joint statement addressing their breakup. “After two years of marriage, we have come to the loving conclusion that we are much better as friends," the statement read. "It’s very simple: it just didn’t work out. There is no anger involved. No fighting, no cheating, no nothing."
Up next for Logic, the "Everybody Dies" rapper is preparing for the release of his Young Sinatra IV album. Set to drop on Sept. 28, the Maryland rapper recently revealed the cover for the upcoming project, which is a recreation of Frank Sinatra's famous 1938 mugshot.
Young Sinatra IV will be Logic's first project since the release of Bobby Tarantino II in March, and his first album since he dropped Everybody in May 2017. The record will also serve as Logic's first Sinatra offering since he released Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever in 2013.
In related news, Logic's hit single, "1-800-273-8255," was certified five times platinum in August. The track was certified four times platinum in February, moving another one million copies between that time.
