Michigan and Michigan State Advance In The NCAA Tournament – Who’s Going Further?
Both the Spartan’s and Wolverines easily advanced through the first round of the NCAA tournament, plus Nik Stauskas and Adreian Payne gave fans even more to cheer about.
Payne helped lead Michigan State passed Delaware as he set an NCAA tournament record by making all 17 of his free throws and broke Sparty’s tournament scoring record, set previously by Greg Kelser in 1979.
Nick Stauskas didn’t have as impressive of a scoring night as Payne, but he did reach a Michigan milestone.
