Michigan police have officially gone insane. In 2012, eight Saginaw cops held a 49-year-old mentally disabled man at gunpoint. It is apparent in the video, which was released Monday by the ACLU, that the man does not have the capacity to be a real threat, yet officers appear to be waiting for a reason to pull the trigger. Not a single officer puts his weapon away to attempt to detain this man without violence.

Reports indicate that officers were called out to a local shopping center over complaints that a homeless man, Milton Hall, was arguing with a shopper. When police arrived, they surrounded Hall, and for no apparent reason fired 46 shots that killed him right there in the parking lot.

"He had no idea that those policemen would do that to him," said Hall's mother, Jewel Hall, in a recent interview with the ACLU. "He wasn’t a threat—I mean, he had a little penknife."

Shockingly, despite the video footage, investigators with U.S. Department of Justice ruled that the officers were justified in killing Hall with nearly 50 bullets.

Watch the video and decide for yourself. Warning: The footage is disturbing.
