Thanks to Mayor Karen Weaver and council members residents in Flint now have no where to put their trash.

After a disagreement between Flint mayor Karen Weaver and council members there will be no waste pick up in the city.

As if Flint needed more problems, Republic Waste will not be picking up waste starting August 1st after the Mayor and City Council members could not come to an agreement with what company should perform the pick up of waste in the city.

Republic Services (the company in charge of picking up Flint's garbage) has responded to the haul and stated that "While our offer to Mayor Weaver to provide waste collection service on Monday was declined, we respect the Mayor's decision against offering service."

Residents are being asked not to put waste on the side of the road to prevent animals from eating the garbage.

Update: According to sources Flint will be staying with Republic Services and the Flint City Council has voted to overturn the veto from Mayor Karen Weaver.
