The Occupy Flint group is planning a rally in downtown Flint this morning to protest a number of wrongdoings in our city.

There isn't a ton of information about the rally planned for today.  The location is the flat lot in downtown Flint at 9am, and attendees are asked to wear all black.

Some of the clear issues that are at the center of the rally is the decision to phase out water distribution sites across the city.

Most of the frustrations that lead to the Occupy Flint movement starting, have to do with the Flint Water Crisis.

This is intended to be a peaceful protest, and a show of solidarity among Flint residents.

Do you think a grass roots movement like this is what the city needs to make real change?
