Things got ugly during the Seton Hall, Villanova game after Sterling Gibbs was ejected for hitting Ryan Arcidiciano in the face during a loose ball.

At first, the announcers thought that the contact was incidental, but replays showed this was no accident.  Gibbs was ejected after the refs got time to look at the incident.  Meanwhile all the Seton hall fans were like.

After the game, Gibbs did go on Twitter to apologize for the incident.

It takes a big man to apologize after something like that.  I salute Gibbs for taking responsibility and doing the right thing.  Most people would have run and hid in the corner.

I also can't help but laugh at one of the comments on the last tweet about it weighing heavy on his heart.  Someone posted, "The only thing "heavy" was that forearm to his face"

I know it's wrong, but dammit it's funny.
