Those of us who have dutifully followed Dwayne Johnson’s social-media updates from the set of the Jumanji reboot (fully titled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, a series of words I will never say out loud) have been hotly anticipating the first official trailer for months now. And after all the online teasing from the Rock about how much excitement audiences can expect from his new revival of the ’90s kids’ classic, he’s finally putting his money where his bulging, oiled-up biceps are. Welcome to the jungle, director Jake Kasdan has fun and games, if by “fun” we mean “a massive FX budget” and if by “games” we mean “body-switching humor.“

Last summer, a spat allegedly broke out between Fast and Furious franchise megastars Vin Diesel and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson while shooting the latest installment The Fate of the Furious. There were rumors of unprofessionalism on set, Johnson threw around the term “candy-ass” pretty liberally, it was a hoot for all involved. But it did cast some doubt on Johnson’s future with the series; there was no telling whether the performer could be persuaded to return for another collaboration with a guy he seemingly couldn’t stand. But a new revelation today (well, new for all of you — Johnson and I are well-documented besties and have been Gchatting about this all week) clarifies the fate of this furious man.

When it comes to online movie polls, which ones do you think the public is usually most excited for: little indie pictures or huge superhero/sci-fi/fantasy blockbusters? Spoiler alert— it’s the blockbusters. Shocking, I know. In Fandango’s year-end poll of the most anticipated movies of 2017, Star Wars: Episode VIII, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and the live-action Beauty and the Beast took the top spots.

What’s the opposite of a humble brag? Just a regular obnoxious brag? That’s pretty much the point of “You’re Welcome,” a song performed by Dwayne Johnson in this new clip from Disney’s Moana. The scene features Johnson’s character, a charismatic demi-god named Maui, singing at the titular hero about his many accomplishments for which she should be grateful. As Danny McBride’s character on Vice Principals might say, it’s very braggadocious.

As promised, Disney has debuted the first official trailer for Moana, the studio’s new musical adventure featuring the voices of Dwayne Johnson as a demi-god — as if you could cast him any other way. The Rock already played Hercules, now he plays a guy who kind of looks and sounds like Hercules’ South Pacific cousin Maui, who boasts of his great deeds, his magical fish hook, and his apparently magical dancing tattoos.

Today is the "Grandaddy of them all" the Superbowl of wrestling of course I am talking about WWE's Wrestlemania. Ever since Wrestlemania 1 in 1985 the event has been known as a sports spectacle.

The classics of this genre featured danger and destruction on a scale a guy could wrap his head around; a hijacked airplane, a skyscraper on fire, a capsized ocean liner filling with water. But when you live by spectacle, you die by it too. And so the disasters got bigger and bigger, one movie trying to top the next, until it became an arms race of planetary devastation. One movie blows up the White House, the next one washes it away in a tidal wave. Where do you go from there? An exploding tidal wave? At this point, if your disaster movie isn’t eradicating a large portion of the globe, don’t even waste your time.

‘Fast and Furious 7’—the next installment in the best film franchise that isn’t Marvel—is coming this spring after some lengthy delays (it was originally scheduled to open last summer), and based on this new trailer, we couldn’t be more excited.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is in another movie and he is quickly becoming one of the hottest guys in Hollywood. In his early days you couldn't have paid me a millionaire dollars to convince that "The Rock" would be one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood.

I am a WWE/wrestling fan, but I know where to draw the line, I think. Yes I know wrestling is "fake" or as our die hard wrestling fans like to say "predetermined".

The Fast & Furious saga has been around for what seems like an eternity and with the 6 edition it looks like everything has reached it's climax. Forget the racing, forget having a decent plot. Just more gun fights, more explosions, and a freaking tank. Oh yea, read me right.
