Flushing High School

High school sports are about so much more than just sports. Flushing and Swartz Creek proved that again during a Freshman basketball game this week.

Last month a Flushing High School student threaten to bring a gun to school on the After School app. A judge has handed down a lenient sentence that does not destroy the student's future.

Club 93.7 and MetroPCS kicked off the 37 Second Challenge at SWA as they hosted Flushing last week.  Cal and Daniel were the contestants shooting for $100, do you think they made it?

Flushing High School students have had a life changing past few weeks with the death of two students. Over the Holiday break Brandon Spangler, a 17-year-old senior, died Dec. 30 in a bizarre shooting while visiting his father in Indiana. Most recently the apparent suicide death of 18-year-old Jarrod Nickell.
