Zack Snyder had completed several months of work on Justice League when Joss Whedon came on board to write some additional scenes for the superhero ensemble. Unfortunately, Snyder had to step away from the film due to a family tragedy, leaving Whedon to oversee post-production. By Warner Bros.’ account, about a quarter of Justice League was reshot by Whedon, but it’s been heavily rumored that the Avengers director actually reshot something like 80 percent of the film. Now, following a disappointing opening weekend, DC fans are asking WB to release the Snyder cut of Justice League via a very misguided online petition.
Did you catch all the hidden references in Zack Snyder’s Justice League? We found a whopping 33 Easter eggs in the new DC movie. Be warned – spoilers follow.
Henry Cavill (who is totally not starring as Superman in Justice League, uh-uh, no way) recently spoke about the mistakes the series had made starting out, but says that he feels very hopeful for the future.
Say what you will about Warner Bros., but they’ve always saved some of their best Justice League footage for Comic-Con. Last year we were treated to our first extended look at the DCEU entry; this year the studio has raised the stakes, giving us some actual footage of the Justice League villain in action. Oh, and this trailer also seems to emphasize the heck out of the world of Wonder Woman - including a scene set entirely in Themyscira - indicating that they know exactly who their most popular superhero is going forward. It’s probably not a coincidence that there’s more Gal Gadot in this trailer than anyone else.
DC want's some of that super hero movie money and leaks the idea of a Justice League Movie! I'm confused on how that will work. Will Christian Bale still be Batman? And who would dare play Superman, given that playing superman in a movie is considered a curse. Check out the leaked info.
