An investigation into the Penn State child sex-abuse scandal involving former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky has revealed that legendary head coach Joe Paterno and other university leaders “repeatedly concealed critical facts” that could have stopped the abuse long before it was made public.

Penn State University's Board of Trustees cleaned house by firing longtime football coach Joe Paterno, as well as university president Graham Spanier. This was a move to clean up the mess and move on in the best interests of the university according to a spokesperson.  However the general population of Happy Valley did not agree, and rioted in the streets all night.
