The Weeknd Buys $18 Million Mansion in Los Angeles

It's hard to say any one moment sums up a major glow-up, but copping a $18 million Los Angeles mansion might be a good start. According to TMZ, that's exactly what The Weeknd did a few days ago.

According to the celebrity gossip site, Abel's new crib rests on three acres of land and checks in at 13,000 square feet. The mansion, which has nine bedrooms and 11 baths and a guest house in the back of it, also comes with a home theater, wine cellar, music lounge and its own gym. Pretty swanky indeed.

This new mansion is just one sign the entertainer has become one of the world's biggest stars. His latest album, Starboy, went gold shortly after its release, and he's still in the midst of his Starboy: Legend of the Fall world tour. Now it also looks like he's jumping into the fashion world.

A few weeks back, Abel teased an upcoming shoe collaboration with Puma. The tease came in the form of an Instagram post featuring an image of what appeared to be a shoe sole with the "XO" symbol carved into it. He captioned the photo, "Coming soon." Pretty tantalizing stuff.
