The hip-hop community's emotional response to XXXTentacion's fatal shooting yesterday (June 18) continued last night at Summit Music Hall in Denver, where Tory Lanez held a moment of silence during his concert for the slain "Sad!" rapper. Lanez also performed X's breakout hit, "Look At Me," in his honor.

"I'm taking a fucking second of silence for a lost fallen soldier that we lost today," Lanez told the crowd, which responded with applause. "Let's all take a little five-to-ten second set of silence."

When the moment of silence concluded, Lanez announced, "One time for my dog, though." His DJ followed by putting on XXXTentacion's first charting single, "Look At Me." Lanez and the audience rapped along in tribute.

Earlier in the day, XXXTentacion was shot while sitting in his car outside a motorcycle shop in Deerfield Beach, Fla, and soon after pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The rapper was 20 years old.

After the news broke, Lanez posted a video on Instagram offering his reaction and condolences. "I can't even believe this nigga gone. I ain't know you too well, bro, but this shit felt like I knew you through the music, my nigga. I just felt like I lost a nigga today, like, we lost a good nigga today, man. Rest in peace," he said.

Kanye West, Diddy, J. Cole and more also shared reactions online to X's alleged murder. You can watch Lanez's tribute in Denver below.
