Since pharmaceutical companies love to screw Americans over, why not show how much $300 worth of epinephrine looks like.

Its insane to actually see how much patients spend for medical care. The average price for a EpiPen has jumped from $90 for a 2-pack of pens in 2007 to now costing over $600. Consumers are literally spending $300 for a pen that contains only $1 of actually epinephrine.

Epinephrine is used to treat anaphylaxis which is caused from allergic reactions. If not treated, it can lead to anaphylaxis shock which causes swelling, hives, low blood pressure, and even death.

Its ridiculous that something so small can cost so much.
