To all of my pot head friends I'm sure you don;t remember what happened 13 years ago, so let me freshen up your short term memory loss.A short stumpy rapper who was born in California and later on relocated to Hattiesburg, Mississippi became a one hit wonder and was even nominated for a grammy.

'Because I got High' was a national success and it got him all sorts of media attention and even landed him an interview on CNN.

The song was originally about the negative effects of marijuana use but with a comedic twist.

Fast forward 13 years and Afroman has pretty much remixed the song but the message this time highlights all the positives of legalizing the drug for recreational use.
