A shooting at a suburban shopping mall in Maryland has left at least three dead, according to authorities. 

The initial 911 call was made reporting gunfire at the mall in Columbia, Maryland about 11:15 AM eastern time, according to CNN. Police found three bodies upon entering the mall. They suspect one of the bodies belongs to the shooter.

Police say the shooting occurred inside and just outside of a Zumiez store. Both of the shooting victims were employees of the store.

The body of the person believed to be the shooter was found near a gun and an amount of ammunition.

In a news briefing this afternoon, Howard County police chief Bill McMahon told reporters there was not yet a sign of a motive for the shooting.
