Martin Luther King Day brought news of an upcoming Joey Bada$$ single and along with it comes word from Big Boi that his third solo album has reached the finish line. The Outkast rapper posted the above video to Instagram announcing the completion of Daddy Fat Saxxx.

"Live from Stankonia. MLK Day," he says in the above clip. "We start our albums on MLK Day, but this year, we are finishing a record on MLK Day. Very significant. Can’t wait to let y’all hear. Epic Records. Daddy Fat Saxxx."

Big Boi hasn't released a solo project since 2012's Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, teaming with Phantogram in late 2015 for the collaborative EP Big Grams instead. Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, his 2010 solo debut, featured the track "Daddy Fat Sax," behind only the album's intro.

Expect Gucci Mane, who appeared on Sir Lucious Left Foot's "Shine Blockas," to be one of the guests on Big Boi's new album, Big saying last month, "I do have Gucci on this album.” In September, Guwop told his Snapchat followers that he had an upcoming Outkast collaboration, leading some to think the group was recording new music together. “[Gucci Mane] was just excited because the song was jammin’ like a motherfucker,” Big Boi later clarified.

Catch the rapper's announcement in the video up top, where he's sporting an Atlanta Falcons hat, one of four remaining teams in the NFL playoffs.
