Big Sean Spits Eight-Minute Freestyle Over Classic Beats
Hours before his fourth studio album I Decided. dropped, Big Sean hit the Hot 97 studios to flame a number of classic beats for Funk Flex. In the above video, Sean freestyles over Freeway's "What We Do," Mobb Deep's "Quiet Storm" and Nas' "Oochie Wally," saying that promoting his album has kept him from sleep for the past two or three days.
Over "What We Do," a song that Jay Z was orginally featured on, Sean raps, "I know Ye proud of me, he took me out of debt/I know Jay proud of me, he put this round my neck/And I might just kill Isis with the same ice pick that I murdered Donald Trump in the same night with." To commemorate the release of I Decided., Jay gave Sean a Roc-A-Fella chain, which he sports proudly above. "Hov heard the album, threw me this, said I earned it," he later explained.
Sean caps it all of saying, "G.O.O.D Music. I can’t wait till Pusha T hear this shit," and sure enough, the G.O.O.D. president gave Sean his props, writing, "HE BLAAAAAACKED OUT!!!" just after midnight.
I Decided. is Sean's first solo album in nearly two years time and hits shelves and digital outlets today (Feb. 3). The album features Eminem, Migos, Jeremih and more. Peep Sean Don's nasty freestyles up above, Push diagnosing his efforts exactly right.
