Carlos Santana gave everyone a pretty big scare earlier this week when he collapsed on stage while performing at Pine Knob in Clarkston.

The 74-year-old guitarist was performing Tuesday night with opening act Earth, Wind, & Fire as part of his Miraculous Supernatural Tour.

Not long into his set, Santana collapsed on stage and the show came to an abrupt end as he was rushed to a nearby hospital.

A couple of hours after the incident, Santana's team shared an update on Facebook:

From Team Santana: Rock Legend Carlos Santana was over-taken by heat exhaustion and dehydration during a concert Tuesday (July 5) evening in Michigan. The guitar great was taken from his show at Pine Knob Music Theatre (formerly DTE Energy Music Theatre), an outdoor amphitheater in Clarkston, some 40 miles northwest of Detroit, Michigan. Carlos was taken to the emergency department at McLaren Clarkston for observation and is doing well.

Santana later posted that he had forgotten to eat and drink water, so he was dehydrated and passed out.

Carlos Santana Spotted Shopping in Rochester

By Thursday, Santana was obviously feeling better as he was spotted shopping in Rochester with his wife.

According to WDIV, Elizabeth Cosetta Kincaid was in the audience at Pine Knob when the legendary guitarist collapsed.

Kincaid was driving down Main Street on Thursday when she couldn't believe her eyes, it was Santana and his wife Cindy walking around Rochester. She immediately turned around to make sure what she was seeing was real. Oh, and it was.

She ran up and told him that she was happy he was feeling better and asked if she could get a photo them.

You can see her interview (and the photo) with WDIV below.
