Cedric The Entertainer to Host ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ Next Season

Be honest, you have not watched 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' in a long time.  I remember when the show debuted in 1999, I use to be glued to the television screen and not so much so as of late.  Today we find out that Cedric The Entertainer will be the next host of the game show starting next season.  Thumbs up.

The game show debuted right before the turn of the new century with Regis Philbin as the host.  Since Regis, Today Show host Meredith Viera held down the hosting duties.  Viera really never captivated me like Regis once did.  Now, Cedric The Entertainer will have me checking in to see how many life lines it will take to win big money.

Ced has been successful as a stand up comedian, actor, and host so it shouldn't be a problem for him to bring the laughs to the show.  Will you now start back watching 'Who Wants To Be A Million' now that Ced is the host?
