Chance The Rapper Links With Barack Obama for ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ Campaign
The PSA, titled "We Are the Ones," aims to bring awareness to the program, which was founded in 2014 to "address persistent opportunity gaps facing boys and young men of color."
"I want you to know, you matter," Obama says in the clip. "There is nothing, not a single thing, that's more important to the future of America than whether or not young people all across this country can achieve their dreams."
"I am my brother's keeper," Chance adds in the clip, which also features NBA star Steph Curry.
This, of course, is just the latest connection between Obama and Chance. Last month, Chance joined fellow Chicago native, Common and Nas at he Obama Foundation Summit, which took place in Chicago over the course of two days. Approximately 500 participants from 60 countries attended the two day event, which aimed to "inspire a new generation of leaders, in Chicago's South Loop."
