Check Out Images From The Huge Turkey Give Away In Flint

Flint had an amazing turnout the other day as cars pilled up all along Dort Hwy and pick up free turkey compliments of Business owner Bruce Leach and his team over at the Sweetleaf. This is the second big-time charity event coming from Bruce Leach within a very short time period. Previously Bruce held a charity event at the local Flint Golf Club titled "Great Balls Of Fire" which saw a unique take on golfing at night. Oh yea, there was a ton of free Fireball as well!

Bruce knows has to have fun for sure but he also understands how important it is to give back. This event pulled some crazy numbers, with over 350 turkeys being giving out in one day if Flint didn't have a turkey record. It has one now. This event also pulled some local celebrity heavyweights like G.W.O.A.T Claressa Shields, who herself brought 50 turkeys to help hand out to local flint residents. Also, retired NBA star Morris Peterson made an appearance to help out with the cause as well.  They also had an appearance and donation from the super popular Flint rapper Bfb Da Packman whos fresh from shooting a music video with Wiz Khalifa.

We also saw Flint's Mayor Sheldon Neely come out and support the cause as well. He made it a point to talk to every car and highlight the blight problem we have with Flint. The event lasted for two hours and when the last turkey was given out, there were still cars in line waiting.

This was an amazing event for the city and I hope to be involved in more to come.
