Chris Rock pushed the "too soon" limits during his monologue on Saturday Night Live this weekend as he joked about 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombing.

He said the Boston attack was “the most scary, frightening, sadistic” one ever. "Just think about it — 26 miles!" Rock joked. "You've been training for a year, you finally get to the finish line, and somebody yells, 'RUN!' "

Rock said he’d never enter the Freedom Tower, built to replace the Twin Towers, for any reason.“Does this building duck?” “I’m never going in there,” he said. “I don’t care if Scarlett Johansson is buck-naked on the 89th floor in a plate of ribs.”

So did Rock go too far?

Not in my opinion.  Rock has made a career out of humor that has toed the line, and this is no different.  He wasn't disrespectful to either event, and I think most people watching laughed before any other thoughts came into their heads.

What do you think?

If you werent happy with Chris Rock's comments, then watch the SNL skit making fun of Taylor Swift below.  Everyone agrees that we can make fun of her right?
