Claressa Shields Rallies Flint Ahead of October 5th Title Fight
The GWOAT, Claressa Shields fought to have her title fight in Flint, and it's up to us to make sure it is a sell out.
Shields has been in Florida training for her upcoming fight in front of her hometown crowd. Before leaving, Shields held a press conference at Dort Federal Event Center to talk about how important it is for her to be fighting in Flint.
Shields hit Facebook with a message for Flint and surrounding areas to rally people together.
The floor seats are officially sold out on Ticketmaster, but Shields is 100% right when she mentioned the low ticket prices. There are still a ton of $23 seats left throughout the arena. Plus if you went to the Dirrell fight at Dort, you know that there's not a bad seat in the house.
You can shop for tickets here, and even if you can't go, spread the word to people who can.
Claressa will go down in history as the greatest woman boxer of all time, and we're lucky enough to be able to see her in our own backyard. She is committed to Flint, and we need to show the same commitment to her.
