Claressa Shields just destroyed Hanna Rankin to win the WBC Championship Belt last weekend, but she'll be back in the ring sooner than you think.

Shields has a goal to unify the middleweight championship belts, and after her latest win, she is only one more win away from doing it.

T-Rex announced that she will step back in the ring on December 8th, just 21 days after her last fight. She'll take on WBO Middleweight champion Femke Hermans.

This will be a huge fight for Claressa's career for two reasons. First it gives her the chance to hold all three middleweight belts at the same time. Secondly is that the fight is on HBO, and she is sharing the card with another super star in the world of women's boxing.

I'm so excited to be fighting live on HBO and to share the stage with Cecelia Braekhus on Dec. 8, It's a great step forward for women's boxing to have the two best female fighters in the world on the same card on worldwide television

The quick turnaround time doesn't seem to bother Shields at all, and being from Flint, we all know that she is tough enough to get the job done.

Shields has constantly remained an amazing role model for kids in Flint. She never backs down from a challenge, shows the hard work that goes into preparing, and of course she has a lot of that Flint swagger.

The bottom line is that all of our support and love is for Claressa as she continues to make our city proud.
