Gratiot County residents are angry with Police after an officer shot a family's Golden Retriever seven times, killing it.  Now they are speaking out in the community.

Protesters gathered outside of the Saint Louis City Hall building demanding answers. The dog had gotten loose and was roaming around alone.  After trying to find it's owner the officer said that the pet turned aggressive toward him.

Police told ABC12 that the officer shot so many times because he missed, and was threatened by the dog.

Judging only on what we know right now, do you think the officer had just cause to shoot the dog?
