A police officer has been sentenced to 4 years in prison after dash cam footage was released of the officer tazing a teenager for more than 20 seconds and then slamming his face into the concrete.

Police officers have a tremendous amount of responsibility. For most officers, the key is staying away from unneeded confrontation. In this case, the officer seemed to want anything but a peaceful resolution.

In the video you can see the officer approach the passenger side of the teen's vechile and after asking the teen to roll down the window all the way, the officer filled with rage and went to the drivers side. After refusing to tell the teen what he was being arrested for, he grabbed his tazer and tazed the teen for more than 20 seconds. This officer tazed this teen for four-times longer than officers are trained to have their tasers deployed. The teen was then pulled out the vehicle and slammed face first on the concrete.

The teen was put into a coma due to being tazed and suffered a heart attack due to being tazed. The officer is now serving 4 years in prison.
