Detroit Woman Dies From Hugging An Off Duty Cop

A 25-year-old Detroit woman hugged an off-duty cop and died after his gun went off.

He was hosting a party at his house and was dancing with his wife when the woman came up behind him and gave him a hug. Somehow the gun went off and killed her.

The cop didn't know the woman and is allowed to carry a gun while off-duty.

Her family wants answers and claim they were told several different stories including that she hugged him from the front, not from behind. Internal affairs is investigating the shooting.
