Donald Trump Is Going to Make Texting Great Again

On Wednesday, October 3rd everyone in America will receive a test alert on their phone from President Trump.

While half of America would most likely leave Trump on "read" this is actually a very important text. This is the first time in the U.S. that a president will be able to send an emergency alert to the country via cell phone.

This will coincide with a national test of the Emergency Alert System on all forms of media including radio and TV. The alert will happen at 2:18 pm on Wednesday.

It's become more common to send alerts to peoples cell phones recently, but this will be the first time that an alert will be sent nationwide. This is a method of sending out information that will only be used in the most extreme cases.

We are all aware that Trump is fast with the Twitter fingers, so there will definitely be some critics when the alert comes through. In the end though, this is a great way to send information in a time of need.
