Eminem gave the Detroit Pistons crowd a reason to get pumped up before the first game at Little Caesars Arena.

The Pistons started their next chapter in Downtown Detroit Wednesday night as they kicked off the 2017-18 season at their new home, Little Caesars Arena. It's been 40 years since the Pistons played in Detroit, and the fans were geeked to have Em help break in the arena.

Eminem wasn't the only big name in the building. He posted a pic of himself and Big Sean on his Instagram before the game.

More Detroit music stars were on the floor before the game.

Flint also got into the act as our own Manny Torres performed outside for fans arriving.

One of the main questions about the move, is would LCA feel like home, the way that The Palace did. That question was quickly answered with the player introductions. The Pistons went on to beat the Hornets 102-90.
