Eminem Could Launch ‘Revival’ With Performance at 2017 MTV EMAs
Eminem is reportedly plotting a major comeback in preparation for the release of his ninth studio album, Revival.
According to gossip reports, Em plans to launch the album with a special performance at the 2017 MTV EMAs at the SSE Arena in Wembley, London on Nov. 12.
“This is Eminem fully relaunching his career after a few years out and gathering his thoughts. It will be a massive performance,” an insider told U.K. tabloid The Sun.
Organizers of the EMAs had no comment on the Eminem rumor, but confirmed performers include Travis Scott and French Montana, Stormzy, Demi Lovato and Camila Cabello. This year’s host, Rita Ora, is set to hit the stage for a performance of her pop single “Your Song.”
Eminem has got the internet buzzing with his Revival promo, which consists of calling a 1-800 number and listening to a recorded message of a woman telling you that the fake Revival drug is not recommended for anal use.
“Thank you for continuing to hold,” the operator says when you call the number. "We give you some serious fucking credit for sticking with this."
In addition, Eminem will perform on the Nov. 18 episode of Saturday Night Live with host Chance the Rapper.
Eminem's Revival album is expected to arrive on Nov. 17.
