Discover Munising's hidden gems this summer on a really cool 7-hour guided tour.

This summer you could blindly navigate your way through the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, or you could make life a little easier and book an Airbnb experience tour. It's a guided tour with a local host that can show you things you probably wouldn't find on your own.

On this tour, you'll get to see the area's hidden secrets, the best beaches, and more.

Your day will start by traveling west of Munising to the historical 'Face in the Rock' which is an old weathered carving of the face of Grand Island Chippewa named 'Powers of the Air' - a heroic Chippewa who lived on Grand Island. Apparently, some locals don't even know where to find it...but your local guide sure does.

After you have lunch in town, you'll head to Sand Point. This is a beach that offers an awesome view of Grand Island and the East Channel Lighthouse.

You'll also check out Munising and Wagner Falls, followed by a killer drive that'll take you east of Munising to the famous Miners Castle and Miners Falls.

The day will come to an end at a local hidden beach with rock formations and great swimming.

Tour Guide, Randi:

Hey there, my name is Randi. I have lived here for over 25 years, done some traveling and can't imagine living anywhere else. This area is absolutely stunning. I grew up out in the woods between Munising and Grand Marais. Spent so much time running the back roads - no matter what the season is, there is always something to do or scout out. Always looking for berries, mushrooms, wildflowers, fly-fishing for Brook Trout, making crafts out of birch bark and Lake Superior rocks. I love showing off where we live, the best little secrets.. and meeting new people. Can't wait to get to know you and share this beautiful place and all the natural treasures and with you!

How Much Does this Tour Cost?

The tour is $140 per person which I think is a great deal, considering it's a 7-hour tour, not to mention your food and transportation is provided as well.
