Surprise, surprise, Kanye West's Jesus Is King album has not arrived.

After weeks of speculation on behalf of the Kardashian-West family, fans have been left disappointed after waking up to a lack of new Kanye West music on streaming services. Jesus Is King was slated to drop today (Sept. 27) but has yet to materialize.

Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, confirmed the LP’s existence late last month via Twitter, revealing the expected release date and a tracklist that includes songs like "Sierra Canyon,” “Water,” “Sunday” and “Sweet Jesus." Def Jam, West’s current record label, fueled the fire by posting a monumental photo of the 42-year-old rapper with praying hand emojis hours before the supposed drop.

Rumors about the project being pushed back began to fly on Wednesday (Sept. 25), based on a Variety report. Kim, however, insinuated that ‘Ye’s album would still be dropping by posting promotional videos and pictures on her Instagram and Twitter pages.

There's no word on when Kanye's new LP will drop now, but the rapper is putting on a special Sunday Service concert in Detroit today. Maybe the show will precede the release of the new LP later on? Who knows.

For now, fans are coping with (or clowning) the situation via social media's greatest gift: memes. XXL compiles Twitter’s funniest responses to the delay of Kanye West's Jesus Is King.
