Following the release of his new single and video "Crushed Up," Future has revealed the release date for his new album.

The rapper's seventh studio album will arrive on Jan. 18, Epic Records confirmed in a press release on Friday (Jan. 4). The label also announced that a week before the album's release, Future will release The WIZRD, which is a Mass Appeal-produced documentary that will drop on Apple Music. The album's title has not yet been revealed, but it won't be surprising if it matches the title of the documentary.

"The feature-length film follows the artist closely and peeks into corners of his world never-seen-before—until now," reads the press release announcing Hendrix's new LP. "It opens up a window into his story and creativity unlike anything else."

This has to be welcomed news for Future fans everywhere. After all, the rapper was musically quiet for most of 2018. Over the summer, he dropped off his Beast Mode 2 mixtape with Zaytoven, marking his first release of the year. A few months later, in October, he dropped off Wrld on Drugs, which is a joint project with Juice Wrld.

Now we're just four days into the new year and he's already dropped two songs and announced a documentary and an album, so it looks like 2019 will be a good one for Future fans!
