Glow For Miracles hopes to light up the night outside of Hurley Children's Hospital in Flint tonight.

This is the first Glow For Miracles event in Flint, and it will help to serve a double purpose for the kids being cared for inside Hurley.

The Facebook event page gives a brief description of what the Glow For Miracles event is all about.

A big group will gather outside the back of the hospital with glow sticks, showing the children in our pediatrics unit we care about them and wish them a good night's sleep - especially now, through the holidays. The children will shine glow sticks back at us from their hospital room windows, letting us know they are okay and so thankful you care.

Everyone that is attending is encouraged to park at the medical office parking garage near the helicopter landing pad. Hurley will provide blue glow sticks for everyone, but you are encouraged to bring your own glow sticks, light sabers, and flashlights. The event will start at 7:45pm with a kids glow at 8pm.

This is such a cool gesture for the kids at Hurley, and just another reason why so many miracles happen there. Glow For Miracles is also a great way to remind everyone to Vote For Miracles.

Remember the contest runs through December 18th, and you can vote once a day to help Hurley win $50,000.
