Grand Blanc's Bicentennial Park Prepares for 2021 Tree Lighting

The Christmas spirit will be overflowing in Grand Blanc this year.

The holidays are upon us and Bicentennial Park in Grand Blanc is ready for the season. Bicentennial Park will also be hosting a holiday tree lighting event on Friday, December 3rd.

What can we expect for the holiday tree lighting event?

Get the family together and head to Bicentennial Park in Grand Blanc on Friday, December 3rd for the holiday tree lighting event. The Third Annual Tree Lighting Event will take place from 5 pm until 8 pm at the South Pavilion. Get there early as Santa will be arriving via firetruck at 5:30 pm. The evening will be filled with fun for the whole family including:

Horse-drawn wagon rides from 5 pm until 7:30 pm
Pictures with Santa from 5:30 pm until 8 pm
Hot cocoa and cookies from 5 pm until 8 pm
A petting zoo and pony rides from 5 pm until 7:30 pm
Making reindeer snacks from 5 pm until 8 pm
Fire pits and s'more stations from 5 pm until 8 pm
Flint Institute of Music from 5 pm until 6 pm
Light display scavenger hunt from 5 pm until 8 pm
Finally, at 8 pm, Santa will light the Bicentennial Park tree and the fireworks show will begin.

I've lived in Grand Blanc for many years now and Bicentennial Park is one of my favorite places to go. My daughter and I spend a lot of time there in the summer and the running/biking trail is great. From softball to kickball and a great sledding hill, Bicentennial Park has it all for families to enjoy year-round.
