The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced over the weekend a recall of nearly 43,000 pounds of ground beef products potentially contaminated with E. coli.

The meat products which were produced on June 1st are sold by Lakeside Refrigerated Services in New Jersey and are also sold under the names Marketside Butcher and Thomas Farms. The meat is distributed nationwide, partially to some Walmart locations.

According to ABC12, the problem was discovered during routine FSIS testing. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products.
