Gunna says Drip Season 4 is on the way.

In a video uploaded to Instagram on Sunday (April 21), the College Park, Ga. rapper was asked what he's got cooking in the studio. Gunna responds by reminding the people at home that his Drip or Drown 2 album is out now, and confirming that the fourth installment of his popular Drip Season mixtape series is coming soon.

"We've got Drip or Drown 2 happening, and we've got Drip Season 4 on the way," Gunna says as he walks toward his ride.

The last time Drip Season rocked the atmosphere was in February 2018 when the YSL rapper dropped Drip Season 3. The 17-track project features Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Nav, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Young Jordan and Lil Durk. Gunna doesn't get into the specific deets about his upcoming mixtape but, given the success of his debut studio album, it's bound to make his fans go wild.

The news of his upcoming project comes shortly after Gunna's Drip or Drown 2 debuted at the No. 3 slot of the Billboard 200 chart. The album racked up 90,000 equivalent album units, of which 7,000 came from traditional album sales. It even outshined his 2018 collab Drip Harder with Lil Baby by one spot, which makes it the highest position Gunna has ever held on the chart.
