Before the surge of tour merchandise in 2016, rap photo tees were the perfect way to support and rep for your favorite artists in the game. From celebrities to athletes to rappers, the trend of photo rap tees has always been around in the world of fashion, thanks to streetwear brands like Supreme, ALIFE and other brands who have made the photo tee a hot commodity all these years. Now, with spring here and t-shirt weather approaching, celebrity photo tees will once again become the items to own this season.

From rappers like Cam'ron, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, RZA, Jadakiss and others becoming just a few of the MCs to land on the front of a portrait t-shirt. This year will be no different, as several clothing brands will try to tap the hottest rappers of the moment, to create more celebrity-driven portrait tees.

While many of Supreme and ALIFE's portrait t-shirts have featured major artists from the 1990s, a handful of today’s top rappers have become influenced by the trend of celebrity tees, which led them to create their own portrait t-shirts to help push their brands.

With celebrity photos tees here to stay, XXL looks back today at the best rap photos tees created by Supreme and ALIFE. Check out the tees after the jump.
