Saturday's battle is open to anyone, and Sunday's concert will feature dances about the Flint Water Crisis, a special tribute to the moms out there and more! Vertical Ambition Dance Company and Fli-City Studios present a weekend of dance for our community!

The fundraiser jam battle is Saturday afternoon at Fli-City Studios (718 Oak Street, Flint) and is open to anyone with top prize being $150! You can participate, or spectate, and all ages are welcome. Flint native DJ Tron will be spinning at the battle, which kicks off at 4PM (doors at 3). The very next day Vertical Ambition Dance Company and Crew present a concert called "Things To Consider" which will touch on both important topics like the water crisis, and fun topics like the 80's. Did you know that DJ Tron (Julius Rogers) is also an incredibly talented dancer? He will also be performing on Sunday. You can enjoy several dance styles at the concert, and it's in the middle of the day so you have time to take your mom to breakfast, hit up the show (bring yo mama), and still do whatever you want that night. The concert is at Flint Institute of Music (1025 E. Kearsley, Flint). Doors are at 2:30 on Sunday and the show begins at 3. The video below explains in further detail and you can find all of the specifics here and here.
