So, what do we know so far after he dropped his first single of what is rumored to be his final album? Well, his new video is full of a few easter eggs that could give us an idea of what we could expect. (As well as some really fun Celebrity cameos.)

On May 15th, the Detroit Rapper placed his own obituary in the Detroit Free Press newspaper, for the 'death of slim shady', clearly a move to gain attention about this upcoming single.

And that theme keeps going in the music video for "Houdini", where the theme is "the old me is going to be the death of the new me", which is a pretty relatable feeling when you're in your 40-50's like Em. He even goes as far as showing himself rapping with the 'old him'.

He also throws on a (obviously bad) blonde wig and brings back the army of 'Slim Shadys' that he had in his first major single, "Real Slim Shady".

He also brought back his character from the "Without Me" music video, Rapboy.

Which was extra fun, because one of the final celebrity cameos in the video is Pete Davidson, who played Eminem as Rapboy in an SNL skit 3 years ago.

And at one point early in the video, Eminem walks into a podcast hosted by Comedian Shane Gillis, to defend his honor as the best MC.

The video is incredible, and you can watch the entire thing here:

Now if you think that melody in the hook and beat of the song is familiar, you're not wrong...

What song is the new Eminem single "Houdini" sampling?

You may reconize the melody in Eminem's newest song "Houdini" as the melody and chorus of the famous Steve Miller Band song, "Abracadbra" which was also later covered by Sugar Ray for the Sabrina The Teenage Witch soundtrack.
