The Black River Tattoo Convention happens this weekend in Port Huron. The event features countless artists, vendors, entertainment, tattoo contests, and more.

Jonathon Anderson of Sarenity Tattoo & Body Piercing is the driving force behind the convention, bringing more than two decades of experience in the body art industry.

This exciting event will feature more than 100 hand-selected artists while welcoming guests from across Michigan and beyond.

Dates are as follows,

  • Friday, June 5th, 2026: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
  • Saturday, June 6th, 2026: 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
  • Sunday, June 7th, 2026: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Bluewater Convention Center at 800 Harker Street in Port Huron, 48060.

How much are Black River Tattoo Convention tickets?

  • $25 per day
  • $60 all weekend
  • Kids 16 and under get in free

Please note that no one under the age of 18 will be tattooed at the convention, even with parental consent.

Each day will feature multiple tattoo contests, including categories such as Best Color, Best Cover-Up, Best Pet Portrait, Best Portrait, Best Realistic, Best Anime, and more.

Additional attractions include free caricature drawings by Fred Koceba, available daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, as well as free face painting by Lumina Solis, offered each day from noon to 5:00 PM.

There will also be a performance by the Roadside Side Show on Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, along with additional events scheduled throughout the weekend.
