A Social District Is Coming to Downtown Davison This Summer
Downtown Davison is about to turn up the fun this summer.
According to a Facebook post from The Agitated Grape, downtown Davison is officially getting its own Social District.
This kind of thing can completely change the vibe of a downtown area. And with all the great restaurants and spots already in downtown Davison, this could end up being a total game-changer.

What Is a Social District?
Think of it like a drinks-on-the-go setup.
People will be able to buy drinks from participating businesses and walk around downtown with them inside designated boundaries.
You’ll be able to grab a drink from a participating bar or restaurant in an approved district cup and walk around downtown while shopping, hanging out on patios, or checking out events.
There are still some rules, though. This isn't some free-for-all. Drinks have to stay inside the district boundaries, and you can’t bring them into businesses that aren’t participating.
When Does the Downtown Davison Social District Start?
The Downtown Davison Social District officially launches June 3.
Over the next few weeks, people will start seeing official signs going up around downtown while businesses finish up the licensing process.
Why This Could Be Big for Downtown Davison
Honestly, this feels like a pretty cool move for Davison.
Social Districts usually bring more people downtown during the summer, which is obviously good news for local businesses, too.

Even if you don’t drink, these districts tend to make downtown areas feel more active and give people more of a reason to actually hang out downtown.
Just don’t be the idiot who ruins it for everybody. All it takes is one person getting completely hammered and causing problems for the rules to start changing real quick.
Be smart, have fun, and enjoy downtown Davison this summer.
