Flint Township Mother Facing Multiple Charges for Child Abandonment
A Flint Township woman has been charged with six felonies after leaving her two children home alone for days earlier this month.
Thankfully, a concerned neighbor contacted authorities, who then conducted a welfare check.
Michigan residents and beyond were disgusted and heartbroken after a video surfaced of Flint Township Police discovering the children living in filth. One of the children was reportedly eating rotten meat from the garbage.
According to ABC 12, 27-year-old mother Krystal Farmer left her children home alone without food or water for roughly five days.

Krystal Farmer has been arraigned on several charges: two counts of second-degree child abuse, two counts of second-degree child abuse in the presence of another child, two counts of child abandonment, and lying to a peace officer during a violent crime investigation.
Our hearts go out to these children. Respectfully, their whereabouts have not been made public, but we hope they are receiving the love and care they both deserve.
