Lapeer County Man On Lawn Tractor Hit And Killed

An investigation is underway after a Lapeer County man was hit and killed while driving a lawn tractor in Michigan.

The horrible accident happened this past Tuesday, May 9th, close to 4:00 PM.

According to ABC 12, the unidentified 72-year-old man was on Hough Road in Dryden at the time of the accident. Reports indicate the victim was hit by a 52-year-old male from Almont, driving a Jeep Cherokee.

The man's name in the Jeep Cherokee has not yet been released. Alcohol or speeding is not believed to be a factor in the tragic accident. An investigation into what happened is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Dryden Township Polie Department at (810) 796-2271.
