McDonald’s Is Rolling Out a New Under 3-Dollar Menu
It’s no secret…fast food just isn’t what it used to be. Over the years, it’s gotten more and more expensive…to the point where it’s almost laughable.
That’s exactly why they’re changing things up again.
According to ABC 12, McDonald’s is rolling out a brand new value menu with 10 items all priced under 3 dollars. No weird rules, no “buy something else first” deals…just straight-up cheaper options.
Okay…now we’re listening.
What’s On McDonald’s New Under-3 Dollar Menu?
They haven’t dropped the full list yet, but here’s what we know so far.
Breakfast will include things like hash browns and a Sausage McMuffin. Later in the day, you’re looking at options like a McDouble or small fries.

Why McDonald’s Is Now Offering a New Value Menu
This all comes down to one thing…prices. And I’m sure constant complaints from customers played at least a small role, too.
Fast food prices have gotten out of control, and people are sick of it. McDonald’s has already been testing cheaper deals like the 5-dollar meal, and now they’re doubling down.
They’re also not alone.
Places like Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Panera, and even KFC have all been pushing value menus again. Everyone is trying to win back customers.
When Does McDonald’s New Value Menu Start?
The new under-3-dollar menu officially launches on April 21.
That’s also when McDonald’s is adding a new 4 dollar breakfast meal deal.
Is This Actually a Good Deal?
It depends on how you look at it.
On one hand, yeah…having actual items under 3 bucks again feels like a step in the right direction.
On the other hand, fast food prices are still way higher than they used to be, so this almost feels like a reset more than a huge win.
Either way, at least you won’t feel like you need to finance your breakfast or lunch at the drive-thru anymore.
