Michigan Man Just Vanished—Police Asking People to Check Their Property

The Michigan State Police need your help finding a missing man from Lake County.

Jack Albert Peterson, 67, was last seen Sunday, June 1, near Irons Road and 4 Mile in Irons, Michigan. If you don’t know Irons, it’s a tiny spot surrounded by woods and lakes, about an hour east of Ludington, way up in northwest Lower Michigan.

Since that day, no one’s heard a peep. No sightings, no calls, nothing. It's like he just up and vanished.

What’s weird is that Jack left his car, phone, and all his stuff right at home. Police also say he’s got Parkinson’s disease, which makes this even more urgent.

According to Up North Live, Jack is a tall guy, 6 foot 6, about 200 pounds, with green eyes and brownish gray hair. Someone that tall does not exactly blend in. You would think he would be easy to spot.

One person on Facebook said that he's usually wearing U of M clothing.

If you live nearby or were driving through the area around June 1, the police want you to check your property, including garages, sheds, barns, whatever. Maybe Jack ended up somewhere unexpected.
